Today, we’re introducing new assembly management capabilities that give sellers more control over bundled (kit) products in OrderEase. A bundled product combines multiple individual SKUs into a single sellable item, such as a starter kit, seasonal assortment, seed rack, or preconfigured package.
With this release, sellers can now hide bundle components from invoices, packing slips, and the cart, making it easier to sell more at scale.
Most systems treat bundled products as rigid structures. Either every component must appear on every document, or kits have to be configured one at a time with little flexibility.
That doesn’t reflect how wholesale actually works. In reality:
When systems can’t adapt to that complexity, teams fall back on spreadsheets, repetitive SKU entry, and manual reconciliation.
OrderEase removes those constraints. Assembly products are managed as structured parent-child records with controlled visibility and bulk import/export support. Sellers can adjust how bundles appear externally while the system preserves inventory accuracy, reporting consistency, and ERP alignment behind the scenes.
Assembly products in OrderEase now include a structured property: Hide Included Products.
When enabled, only the main assembly SKU appears on invoices, packing slips, and in the cart. The individual component SKUs are still linked behind the scenes, so inventory counts, fulfillment, and ERP integrations continue to work as expected.
In other words, you can control what the buyer sees without breaking the underlying structure.
All component relationships remain intact. Assemblies are still searchable, reportable, and exportable, and ERP systems continue to receive clean, structured data.
Assembly settings have also been centralized under a dedicated Properties tab, clearly separating structural configuration from general product details.
OrderEase now supports structured import and export of assembly products via CSV and XLSX files.
Assemblies can be exported in bulk for review or editing, then re-imported with validation and preview before changes are committed. Parent SKUs and component relationships move through a structured file process that preserves quantity mappings, SKU relationships, and integration readiness.
This eliminates the need for manual, one-by-one kit configuration, particularly for sellers managing large bundled catalogs.
The result is improved accuracy, reduced component misalignment, and faster onboarding of large catalogs without ERP-heavy customization.
By enabling controlled visibility and structured bulk management, OrderEase strengthens the operational integrity of kit and bundle management.
Operations teams can manage complex assemblies without risking inventory mismatches. Finance maintains clean, ERP-aligned documentation. Sales can present simplified bundled products while the system preserves underlying structure and governance.
OrderEase is a B2B order management platform built to standardize and automate complex order operations across eCommerce, EDI, sales reps, and accounting systems.
By maintaining structured data at the core, OrderEase enables suppliers to reduce manual work, improve cross-functional visibility, and integrate cleanly with ERP systems — without adding operational complexity.
