Managing shipments just became more streamlined with Shipment Statuses and Batch Actions. These enhancements are designed to improve order management, visibility, and communication for suppliers.
Shipment Statuses
OrderEase now includes Shipment Statuses to help suppliers track shipments throughout every stage of the fulfillment process. Whether a shipment is just being created or has already been delivered, these statuses provide clear updates on the order's progress. The new stages include:
- Pending – Default status when a shipment is created.
- Processing – The order is being prepared.
- Printed – Shipment documentation has been printed.
- Packed/Ready – The order is packed and ready to ship.
- Shipped – The shipment is on its way.
- In-Transit – The shipment is currently in transit.
- Delivered – The shipment has reached its destination.
- Cancelled – The order has been cancelled.
- Returned – The order has been returned.
- Exception – There’s an issue, such as a lost package.
- Changed – A status has been updated.
These statuses not only keep your team informed but also provide transparency to your partners and customers, helping to build trust and improve communication.
Batch Actions for Shipment Status Updates
To make managing multiple shipments even easier, OrderEase has introduced Batch Actions. This feature allows you to update the statuses of several shipments with just a few clicks. Instead of handling each shipment individually, you can select multiple shipments and apply a status, such as "Mark as Printed" or "Mark as Delivered," ensuring that your team, partners, and customers are informed in real-time.
Whether you're managing a few shipments or handling high volumes, OrderEase's Shipment Statuses and Batch Actions make it easier to stay organized and keep everyone in the loop.
Discount Line Item Update
Thinking about running a promotion on one of your sales channels or offering a special deal to wholesale buyers? Diverse pricing strategies are paramount for DTC selling and wholesale buyers love it when you provide a custom discount - just for them. With OrderEase's latest ‘discount line item’ update, you can now showcase the percentage of the discount applied to each item in your catalog.
Previously, when a dollar value discount was applied, it left sales reps to manually calculate percentages if they wanted to know the discount percentage. For example, if the sales rep could manually reduce a price from $865 to $815, but was unable to see what the % discount was for that line item. Now, when the sales rep manually discounts a price, the discount % is displayed below the price, making field sales smoother and more efficient.
This feature does more than show savings—it allows you to adjust discounts across multiple channels, tailoring them to specific customer groups. For example, your eCommerce buyers might receive a 15% discount but you also offer a higher 20% discount for your wholesale clients.
OrderEase's Discount Line Item Update also offers opportunities to test and analyze how discounts impact purchasing habits across channels and buying groups. You can experiment with different discount percentages to see what works best for different customer segments.
