Warehouse Locations: Enhancing Trade with OrderEase

Manage multiple warehouses and streamline logistics with OrderEase's new Warehouse Locations feature for enhanced trade operations.

At OrderEase, our goal has always been to facilitate seamless order operations across every touchpoint in the fulfillment ecosystem. As trading networks continue to expand and evolve, so does our platform, which is why we’re excited to introduce the new Warehouse Locations feature.

This launch empowers suppliers to manage and track warehouse data within the OrderEase system. Suppliers can now add and update warehouse details, associate orders and shipments with specific warehouses, and monitor inventory levels across multiple locations. This makes managing logistics and meeting the specific needs of trading partners more efficient and straightforward.

Why Warehouse Locations Matter

In today’s fast-paced supply chain, trading partners and retailers need full visibility into where their products are coming from. Whether it’s Chewy needing to know which warehouse is fulfilling their orders, or Costco restocking its stores, having precise warehouse information is critical for maintaining an efficient supply chain.

Without clear warehouse assignments, suppliers risk inefficient order fulfillment, such as sending specific orders to every warehouse or manually choosing shipping locations. With the Warehouse Locations feature, suppliers can streamline this process and offload the workload to automation.

For example, if you manage two warehouses, the system will automatically help assign the order to the appropriate one based on availability or proximity or product, preventing delays and reducing operational confusion. This also ensures trading partners get timely, accurate information on where their orders are coming from and when.

Multiple Address Data for Flexibility

The Warehouse Locations feature doesn’t just track where orders are sent; it helps manage the complex flow of inventory and orders between multiple entities. Managing workflows for suppliers is convoluted wherein products can be sold from one location, stored in another warehouse, and shipped to yet another address. Before a supplier even sells to a retailer, the product may have already moved across various locations.

Whether a product is sold from Location A, stored in Warehouse B, and shipped to Address C, the warehouse location assignment in OrderEase ensures you always have a clear picture of every step in the fulfillment journey.

Key Features:

  • Warehouse Management: Suppliers can add and manage warehouse locations, storing all key details (name, address, contact info) directly within the OrderEase system.
  • Order Tracking by Warehouse: Orders can now be linked to specific warehouses, ensuring accurate tracking and faster fulfillment decisions.
  • Shipment Management: When creating a shipment, users can select the appropriate warehouse, simplifying logistics and ensuring orders are dispatched from the correct location.
  • Inventory Visibility: Track inventory by specific warehouses to ensure optimal stock levels across multiple locations, helping you meet trading partner demands with ease.

Enhancing the Fulfillment Ecosystem

By introducing the Warehouse Locations feature, OrderEase is helping suppliers not just meet, but exceed the expectations of their trading partners. Retailers now have complete visibility into where products are coming from, ensuring more precise inventory management and better customer satisfaction.

Whether you’re managing multiple warehouses or navigating the complexities of cross-location logistics, OrderEase’s new feature puts you in full control, ensuring a smooth, efficient supply chain operation.
