OrderEase Winter Product Releases

We’re excited to share the latest updates from OrderEase, designed to make your experience even more efficient and user-friendly. These Winter Product Releases bring key improvements to sales rep assignments, import functionality, and product management tools. Here’s what’s new:

Streamlined Sales Rep Assignments with the New ‘Update All Records’ Setting

Managing sales reps across large customer lists just got simpler with the introduction of the new ‘Update All Records’ setting in the customer import service. With this update, you can assign reps to customers or remove outdated assignments.

This ensures your sales rep assignments are always accurate and up-to-date, cutting down on manual processes and saving valuable time managing complex customer lists.

Prevent Default Group Reassignments During Reimports

We’ve improved the import logic to respect and maintain existing customer relationships during reimports. Here’s what’s changed:

  • Customers excluded from a default group will remain excluded, even after data changes.
  • No unwanted reassignments to default groups will occur unless explicitly configured.

This update eliminates the risk of disrupting custom setups, keeping your customer configurations exactly as you need them. No more frustration or time wasted fixing reassignments—just smooth and reliable imports.

Editable Hold Dates for Automated Order Holds

Suppliers now have more control over order timelines with the ability to adjust the “Hold By Date”. If an order needs to be extended, you can make the change in seconds—no external support, no waiting.

This update empowers suppliers to respond quickly to shifting timelines, streamline workflows, and keep operations running smoothly. By removing bottlenecks, you can focus less on managing hold requests and more on delivering value to customers.

Tracking Information Now Visible to Buyers

Buyers can now access shipment and tracking information right on the shipment page. If tracking links are available, they will be displayed for easy access, offering greater visibility into order statuses. We've also introduced new shipment permissions for buyer users.

This update enhances the buyer experience by providing transparency and reliability, allowing suppliers to onboard more customers while offering buyers a smoother, more informed ordering process.

Take Control with New Delete Data Features

Managing data is easier than ever with our latest updates to Delete Data Functionality. Here’s what’s new:

  • Full Data Deletion: Admins can now delete customers, orders, products, invoices, or shipments directly from the Admin Console with simple confirmation steps.
  • Order Deletion Options: Clean up testing data, fix errors, or resend orders seamlessly with a new ‘Delete’ button and confirmation prompts for integrated orders.
  • Soft Product Deletion: Remove products without losing SKU data. Deleted products appear in a ‘Deleted’ filter, while duplicate SKUs can be re-added as new entries.
  • Invoice & Shipment Deletion: Safeguards now ensure consistent records by warning users before deleting documents linked to ERP systems or other records.
  • Permission Management: Only Owners and Admins can use delete functions by default, ensuring critical data remains secure.

These updates give you more control, reduce manual effort, and keep your data clean and organized. Enjoy smoother workflows and greater flexibility across OrderEase!

Streamlined Order Management with New Email Attachments Functionality

OrderEase introduces new email attachment features to simplify supplier workflows and enhance communication. Here's what's new:

  • Default Custom Template for Email Attachments
Suppliers can now set a default custom template for order emails and print options. A designated template ensures consistency for email attachments and printed orders, reducing setup time.
  • Automatic Order PDF Attachments
When orders are submitted, the default custom template is automatically attached to supplier emails. This eliminates the need for manual attachments, saving time and ensuring accurate communication.
  • Company-Level Configuration for Email Attachments
A new setting in the Admin Console lets users choose whether to include order PDFs in email attachments. Enable or disable this feature easily, depending on your preferences.

These updates reduce manual tasks, ensure accurate communication, and make order management faster and more efficient for suppliers.

Simplified Shipping and Label Compliance Updates

OrderEase is making shipping workflows smoother and ensuring label compliance with two key updates:

  • Shipping Mode Field on Orders
A new Shipping Mode field on orders allows suppliers to specify shipment methods such as Courier, LTL, or Full Truckload. By clearly defining shipping modes, suppliers ensure accurate data is shared with 3PLs, EDI systems, and trading partners, improving efficiency across all platforms.
  • Product Features in Custom Templates
Suppliers can now include detailed product information, like color details, in shipping labels. This update ensures compliance with GS1-128 label standards, reducing errors and streamlining shipments for trading partners.

These updates reflect our commitment to improving your day-to-day operations by reducing friction and enhancing usability. Whether it’s streamlining sales assignments, protecting custom configurations, or refining product management tools, we’re here to help you succeed.
