Thrive Market EDI Integration
Preconfigured Thrive Market EDI connection, synced to your ERP
Thrive Market buys from vendors by EDI, and every shipment needs a carton-level ASN and an SSCC label on each case. OrderEase's Thrive Market connection has been in production since September 2026. Orders land in your ERP with items and case quantities matched, and the ASN goes out once the shipment is packed.
How to meet Thrive Market's EDI requirements
Thrive Market requires EDI from nearly all of its vendors.
The shipment is where suppliers get caught. Thrive wants a carton-level ASN, with each carton's SSCC printed on a GS1-128 (UCC-128) label that matches it.
OrderEase maps each document to Thrive's spec, tests it in a staging account, and goes live once Thrive approves your labels.

Supported Thrive Market EDI Documents:
- 850 – Purchase Order (inbound)
- 855 – Purchase Order Acknowledgement (outbound)
- 856 – Advance Ship Notice (ASN), containerized (outbound)
- 810 – Invoice (outbound)
-
SSCC carton label, GS1-128 format – Printed from the packed shipment

Why Suppliers Choose OrderEase for Thrive Market EDI Integration?
Labels and ASN From One Packed Shipment
Pack the order in OrderEase and the SSCC carton label and ASN are generated from the same data. The label downloads as a 4x6 file, and the ASN sends to Thrive automatically.
Case Packs Converted Before They Reach Your ERP
Thrive orders in cases, but many ERPs count eaches. OrderEase applies your case pack conversion so quantity and unit price both land correctly, with no case price multiplied by the pack size.
Thrive Market EDI Capabilities
Validation Before Sending
Every 856 and 810 is checked for format and required fields, so missing data is flagged and fixed before Thrive Market sees the document.
ERP and 3PL Integration
Thrive Market documents connect to NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics and Finale Inventory, with shipping through ShipStation and other 3PL tools.
Natural Channel Partners
The same EDI setup carries Thrive Market alongside KeHE, Sprouts and other natural and specialty partners, each with its own document rules.

Which EDI documents does Thrive Market require?
Thrive Market asks vendors to send the 855 purchase order acknowledgement, 856 advance ship notice and 810 invoice in response to its 850 purchase order. Thrive also publishes 888 item, 879 price and 889 promotion documents. Confirm the exact set for your account during onboarding.
What is a containerized ASN, and why does Thrive Market need one?
A containerized ASN is an 856 that lists every carton in a shipment, what's inside each one and the SSCC printed on its label. Thrive's receiving team scans the carton label and matches it to the ASN, so the label and the ASN have to come from the same packing data. A shipment-level ASN without carton detail won't meet the requirement.
How does Thrive Market EDI testing work?
Thrive Market's EDI testing runs through an online testing and certification portal. You need a signed testing agreement and a test vendor number, then you send test transactions against Thrive's spec. Thrive approves your carton label separately. OrderEase runs the cycle in a staging account and moves the connection to production after approval.
Can Thrive Market orders go straight into our ERP?
Yes. Thrive's 850 purchase orders are mapped to your item codes, with case packs converted to the unit your system counts, then pushed to your ERP or inventory system. The 856 and 810 are generated from your shipment and invoice data, so nobody rekeys the order.
